Students will develop basic understanding of how microorganisms develop resistance in a polluted area, or how heavy metal deposition affects flora and fauna of that particular area and how grey biotechnology can be useful eco-friendly bio-remedial approach.
The researcher has served as a mentor for high school students and research students. The mentor can assist students to create a poster/presentation to be presented at science fairs and scientific conferences.
This is an excellent opportunity for students who are curious, driven, want to contribute to environment pollution related issues.
Opportunities such as these are also a great way for students to showcase the passion for STEM and stand out in college applications.
